For instance, foods that contain Vitamin C are great at lowering uric acid levels whereas foods that contain substances called purines promote uric acid levels. Once you identify the beneficial foods and the harmful foods it simply comes down to your choices.

As you can see, there is a strong relationship between gout and diet. You do not have to eliminate the bad foods completely, just try and cut back on them whenever you can. Educate yourself and make good choices and experience the results.
